About Lies and Lying

All lies and all truths have an effect. The vast majority of our lies are unconscious ones; just because one is unaware of a lie doesn't mean it doesn't have an effect.

Supporting by silence another's unconscious blaming lie ensures that they will continue to produce less-than-desirable results, it's tantamount to thwarting another. I.e., "My ex was abusive."

It's abusive of you to set up another to break an agreement with you, to thwart you.
